I've been doing stupid things
Wilder than I've ever been
Even my own mind boggles at the recollection,
Things that I can't reverse
And to make matters worse
I even knew better when I made them.
But that’s half the fun of it, surely?
I say fun, but I mean living,
Feeling alive, that must be,
The thinking behind such care free
Actions that could hurt me,
Or bring me undone.
That’s the fun.
